- ➤ Historian John Kinville, a Chippewa Falls teacher and video host, recalled the deadly train crash that occurred on Dec. 20, 1924 - eight lives were lost when a train car plunged into the river. He calls for a marker near the railroad bridge to honor the victims. WQOW
- ➤ The Eau Claire Male Chorus performed holiday carols at Festival Foods, sharing festive songs with local shoppers. Director Jim Seipel said the group is seeking new members and will begin spring rehearsals Tuesday, Jan. 6 — inviting interested voices to join. WEAU
