- ➤ The Eau Claire Fire Department launched a Toys For Tots donation drive to collect new, unopened toys for children in need—boxes are set up at all six stations and the Salvation Army will pick them up on December 9. Deputy Fire Chief Bob Haller noted donors can drop off toys at Station 10 if other locations are closed. WQOW
- ➤ Hope Gospel Mission in Eau Claire will serve free Thanksgiving meals from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Thanksgiving for anyone in need — the mission has provided these meals for 25 years and offers curbside delivery. WEAU

- ➤ On November 25th, the Eau Claire Axemen named former assistant coach Jim Britton as head coach at a press conference at Pine Meadow Golf Course.
