- ➤ A mural called Farmer’s Daughter was completed on Thursday near the Mondovi School District by California artist John Cerney, funded by student fundraisers and local donations to honor Wisconsin’s farming history. The artwork is now visible to drivers on Hwy 37 south of Eau Claire—teacher Paul Richards and locals have praised its creative finish. WEAU
- ➤ Today the Chippewa Valley Museum in Eau Claire opens America's Monsters, Superheroes, and Villains: Our Culture at Play—an exhibit featuring toys, comic books, games and posters from the 1950s to early 2000s along with vintage film trailers of iconic characters like Superman and Batman; the family-friendly display will run until January 3, 2026. - ➤ The UW-Eau Claire Foundation sold the former Sacred Heart Hospital to Commonweal Development Corp — it plans to redevelop the 600,000 square foot site into a medical research and tech park. Blugold Real Estate and BHEI kept a 5-acre parcel from the original 27 acres, giving the foundation a total of 10 acres on the upper campus for future expansion. WQOW
