- ➤ Xcel Energy crews helped assemble patios at Hope Village in Chippewa Falls, worked at Elk Creek Bottoms Nature Preserve in Elk Mound, and assisted REACH in Eau Claire during a Days of Service event. The 15th annual effort—started to honor 9/11—provided hundreds of volunteer hours while additional work will take place today at Beaver Creek Reserve. WQOW
- ➤ Eau Claire resident recalled how parents and community members built the Angel of Hope garden in September 2003 to honor a loved one—over 20 years later, the garden remains a cherished space for the community. Leader-Telegram

- ➤ Northlakes Community Clinic held a ribbon cutting at its new Heights Drive site, adding services—family medicine, pediatric care, behavioral health, addiction recovery and speech and language pathology—to meet rising demand in Eau Claire. The clinic now serves everyone regardless of their ability to pay. WEAU
- ➤ Marshfield Clinic Region of Sanford Health is expanding care in the Chippewa Valley with a new multispecialty ambulatory hub at Lake Hallie—located at 12961 27th Ave.—and enhanced emergency services at Marshfield Medical Center Eau Claire. The Lake Hallie Center will add 20,000 square feet to offer family medicine, pediatrics, and OBGYN services—set to finish between 2026 and 2027. WQOW

- ➤ Week 4 of the eight-player football season began early Thursday night when the 2nd-ranked McDonell Macks met Owen-Withee in a state quarterfinal rematch.
