- ➤ American Legion Post 53 dedicated an outdoor reflection space on Water Street—featuring a statue, bench, signage, and a large mural—for quiet reflection. Leader-Telegram
- ➤ Fairfax pool closed its season on Sunday as dogs swam while humans stayed out, and the pool will reopen next June for the new season+ the event remains a local tradition for over a decade. WEAU
- ➤ Eau Claire non-profit Power of Perception held a Back to School bash at the Children's Museum on Sunday — families received dinner, backpacks, supplies and hair services to help their kids start school. Donations from local businesses and community members made the event possible. WEAU
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ A free concert was held to raise funds for Beaver Creek Reserve's programs—supporting the Butterfly House and outdoor education. John Lebrun and Torianna Lindert said the event brought community members together to set aside their differences. WEAU
