Eau Claire City Council will vote on a paid parking ordinance at Tuesday’s meeting that will charge $1 per hour downtown to shift funding away from the general fund and help pay for the replacement of the aging Gibson Street ramp—if approved, the ordinance will also remove the current 2-hour parking limit and set parking enforcement from noon to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
