- ➤ Eau Claire police said Susan Anderson—a 27-year-old who left her group home on Aug. 11—has been located after she went missing and did not contact friends or family. WEAU
- ➤ Trevor Blackburn, a 25-year-old Chippewa County Jail inmate, is accused of battery to law enforcement officers after he kicked and bit officers on May 27, 2025—he appeared in court on August 12 and will face a pre-trial conference on September 11 and a review hearing on November 12 with his $10,000 cash bond maintained. - ➤ Health officials reported Tuesday that Big Falls and Riverview beaches were closed due to very high bacteria levels—Lake Eau Claire Beach was closed because of a harmful algae bloom while advisories remained at Half Moon and Lake Altoona beaches.
