Eau Claire held its first Dog Jam (an event for dogs and owners to socialize) where games and vendors brought pets together despite cool weather.
Organizers said they plan to host another event next year (following a strong turnout) to give more pets a chance to meet and play.

Eau Claire Express ended their season Saturday with a 14—5 loss to the Waterloo Bucks, and the Eau Claire Cavaliers fell 4—3 to the Spring Valley Hawks in the WBA Tournament.
