Trubilt Collision Centers—hosting the Stuff the Bus drive—have partnered with Student Transit to collect school supplies for the Eau Claire and Altoona school districts.

Donations will be accepted at their offices until August 17.

The Boys and Girls Club is hosting its 17th Annual Lemonade Day—selling 50-cent cups of lemonade at locations in the Chippewa Valley until 3 p.m. today—to raise funds for youth programs.

Today, Eaux Claires Music & Arts Festival returns to Carson Park after an eight-year break to bring music, arts, literary events, demos and interactive exhibits to all ages.

Festival-goers enjoy performances — community conversations and diverse activities under summer skies as they mingle on the park’s historic grounds.

Chippewa Valley Technical College has placed a new metal sculpture (Carpe Carp) at its Business Education Center as part of the Eau Claire Sculpture Tour; the piece shows a river otter that echoes the campus mascot.

It aims to boost community engagement as students return this fall.

Chippewa Falls Fire Chief Brian Tonnancour warned that if the Northern Apartments' only elevator is not repaired soon, disabled residents may be forced to relocate at the management's expense (repair work is expected to start next week once replacement parts arrive) while one resident was injured using the stairs.
