- ➤ Since 2014, Sofas for Service has furnished veterans—many of whom were previously homeless—with essential furniture and appliances, and the nonprofit recently moved into a larger warehouse to better serve veterans in western Wisconsin and Minnesota. It served 181 veterans last year and will help 100 veterans by the end of this month—continuing its commitment to help veterans settle into real homes. WEAU

- ➤ A fatal crash occurred Saturday afternoon near Fall Creek—Eau Claire County Sheriff's Office confirmed the incident. Leader-Telegram
