- ➤ The Eau Claire library has launched a new Community Languages Collection to serve readers whose first language is not English, featuring Spanish, French, Hmong, and Ojibwe books for adults and children. Library Director Nancy Kerr said the selection reflects local language use and indigenous heritage—ARPA funds initially bought the titles and the library will use its own budget to maintain the collection—providing long-term support.
