- ➤ Frankie Gus Paschke, a 50-year-old man from New Richmond, was arrested early Sunday morning near mile marker 32 on Interstate 94 in Dunn County for a suspected OWI fifth offense—troopers noticed his intoxicated behavior during a traffic stop and he is now held at the Dunn County Jail. WEAU

- ➤ Youth participation in the summer reading programs at L.E. Phillip’s Memorial Public Library (located in Eau Claire) is nearing pre-pandemic numbers, said Youth Services Manager Kelly Kneisl (based on recent enrollment figures). Leader-Telegram
