Smith Funeral Chapel held a ceremony today for its newly renovated Veteran’s Memorial; 18 names were engraved on the tribute wall and community members + state senators Jeff Smith and Jesse James attended the event.

Judy Clark was honored as a local broadcast legend by the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association for her 30 years of news work serving the Chippewa Valley.

She began her career at WAXX Radio and joined WEAU in 1990 (she has been a trusted voice in the community), and the award reflects her long-standing impact on local journalism.

Council Member Aaron Brewster is organizing a Municipal Budget Forum for Sunday, June 22 at Brewing Projekt.
