  • Organizers of the No Kings rally have planned over 1,800 protests nationwide this weekend—Eau Claire will hold a rally at noon in Owen Park with a march to Phoenix Park—while La Crosse and Chippewa Falls schedule their own events later.  WIProud
  • The Rotary Club of Eau Claire is hosting Rainworks Bingo—community members can pick up bingo cards at 20 locations and use water to reveal hidden sidewalk art for stickers and prizes.   • A 25-year-old man from Marshfield—Alexander Pongratz—was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery in connection with two Jackson County bank robberies after a judge denied his defense motion, while a Medford woman admitted to the 2018 robberies and said he chose the banks.  WIProud

  • 650 high school students attended the annual Badger Boys State at UWEC this week to learn about civics and form a mock government — Gov. Tony Evers visited to stress the role of public office.  WQOW
