Yoga in the Park returns with free outdoor yoga sessions organized by Wendy Oberg of the Yoga Rooms.

Starting Saturday, June 7th at 9 a.m. at River Park in Altoona, the classes welcome everyone and will run every Saturday until August 30th — participants should bring a mat, towel, or simply enjoy the grass.

The Wisconsin Northwoods Coats of Valor group distributed Quilts of Valor to 14 Chippewa Valley veterans at VFW Post 7232 in Eau Claire on June 3rd—presenting the quilts as a token of appreciation for their service.

Chippewa Valley Air Show announced that two F-35 jets from the 115th Fighter Wing will fly over Eau Claire on June 28.
