- ➤ Veterans in the Chippewa Valley received quilts of valor Monday afternoon at the VFW post 7232 in Eau Claire — 14 veterans were honored by the Wisconsin Northwoods Coats of Valor group, which began making quilts three years ago. The group hopes the quilts bring warmth, comfort and healing to the veterans. WEAU
- ➤ Roosevelt Elementary students teamed with Dunkin’ Donuts on North Clairemont Avenue to turn their school project doughnut designs into real treats available to the community.
