- ➤ Food Truck Fridays returned Friday at Phoenix Park as food trucks served donuts, pierogies + pizza. The event ran from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and will continue each month through September. WQOW
- ➤ Rural Route Bulbs—known for its charming you-pick experiences—offers over 40,000 tulips and daffodils to pick or buy near Fall Creek. The farm hosts morning walks and evening meals and remains open Wednesday through Sunday as Mother's Day nears. WQOW
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Nineteen top 6th-8th graders competed at South Middle School on Saturday morning in the National Civics Bee finals hosted by the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce. Georgia C. — an 8th grader from Shorewood — won the event and will advance to the national competition in Washington D.C. to vie for a $100,000 prize. WEAU
- ➤ Chi-Hi students held their 4th annual FBLA thrift sale at Weber Fields in Lake Hallie this past weekend; the event, which ended Saturday at noon, helped club members learn business skills while raising funds for school projects. WQOW

- ➤ The 10U Blue Rangers and 14U Red Rangers earned spots at the NFL Flag Championships in July after advancing at the Kansas City Regionals; they now plan to improve their performance in upcoming qualifiers in Green Bay and Minnesota. WEAU
