- ➤ Governor Evers signed a new law on Thursday that creates a state matching program for homeless veterans by adding $25 per day for every veteran housed in shelters receiving federal funding. The law follows Klein Hall’s closure in Chippewa Falls to boost care for veterans statewide. WQOW
