Today, Downtown Eau Claire Incorporated held its first meat raffle at Clancy’s on Barstow Street to raise $1,000 for downtown initiatives—organizers said the event brought in new faces.
DECI will host the next raffle at the Mousetrap on May 4.
🏛️ Government
Wisconsin’s spring election will be held Tuesday with contests for a state Supreme Court seat, state superintendent of public instruction, and a ballot measure to require photo ID for voting that will show early signs of the state’s political mood.
Registered voters may cast their ballots until 9 p.m. ET and the Associated Press will declare winners once vote counting is complete (tomorrow).
