- ➤ City officials and UW-Eau Claire students walked down Water Street today to discuss problems with sidewalk accessibility. They urged local business owners to install ramps & automatic doors so that everyone has safe access. WEAU
- ➤ The Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Office has received a $13,000 donation from Chippewa Valley Energy to support its Drug Endangered Children program (DEC), which aids kids at risk from illegal drugs. The funds will allow DEC to accept further contributions such as gift cards and backpacks. WEAU

- ➤ Students at Summit Environmental School are turning sap into maple syrup in the sugar shack — a hands-on lesson in science, math and the environment. The Chippewa Herald
- ➤ Next week, L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library will host spring break activities for children through the Eau Claire Area School District program, including a cardboard crafting workshop, a pop-up planetarium and a pirate-themed escape room (registration required) to engage families. WQOW
