EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Candidates for the school board, incumbents + challengers, shared their views at a spring forum hosted by UW Eau Claire's Student Senate Tuesday night, ahead of the April 7 election where top vote-getters will earn one year and three year terms. WQOW
- ➤ BSA Chippewa Valley Council's new Scout Executive and CEO, Matt Dienger, shared his vision for boosting local youth programs in Eau Claire. He said the council, which covers 14 counties, will expand volunteer opportunities and programming. WEAU

- ➤ A new Court Navigator Program now operates on the second floor of the county courthouse. Court navigators from At The Roots LLC, including Jordan Julson in a green vest, assist visitors with directions and support Monday through Thursday until 1 p.m.—helping ease courthouse stress. WQOW

- ➤ UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education will hold a free Foot and Nail Care Clinic from April 13 to April 17 at Grace Lutheran Church (202 W. Grand Avenue). Appointment sign-ups began on April 7 and callers can reach 715-836-3636 for disability accommodations. WEAU

- ➤ UW-Stout men's hockey is preparing for their return to the division three Frozen Four — the upcoming matchup — while UW-Eau Claire softball celebrated a home run in a win over UW-Superior and will host a doubleheader later. The WBCA announced its all-state boys basketball teams. WEAU
