- ➤ Mr. Kitty’s Cat Café is celebrating its 200th cat adoption this week after reaching the milestone in less than a year, with two brothers Wiley and Elmer adopted together—marking its ongoing partnership with the Eau Claire Community Humane Association. - ➤ Local brewery owner Ryan Stolt—who has run Bloomer Brewing Company for 12 years—said the new 25% tariff on Canadian aluminum may increase his costs for cans and brewing equipment. He explained that while distributors and retailers may also feel the impact, the final price for beer is not expected to rise by the same amount. WQOW

- ➤ Educators at Venture Academy led a tree tapping project that taught students how to make maple syrup, and on Friday, March 14 families gathered for a pancake breakfast to taste the syrup—staff plan to continue the project in the future. WQOW

- ➤ Today the Osseo Rural Fire Department is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Bash at The Condensery to raise money for new self-contained breathing apparatuses—vital equipment for firefighter safety. - ➤ Voters in Wisconsin will head to the polls on April 1 for the Spring General Election, choosing a Wisconsin Supreme Court justice and a Superintendent of Public Instruction.
