EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Over 300 middle and high school students at Fall Creek School District learned about career options at a career showcase held Thursday featuring around 40 vendors from universities, tech schools, military programs and local businesses. - ➤ Second grade teacher Michelle Finder of Sam Davey Elementary received the 2026 Golden Apple award for her 26-year service—she and the school will each get $500 from McDonough Manufacturing and the Eau Claire Public Schools Foundation. WEAU
- ➤ The Eau Claire Children’s Book Distribution Program announced it will use a grant to purchase 1,500 new books for Chippewa Valley Little Libraries. The move will boost local reading options for children. Leader-Telegram
