- ➤ Home for Good is hosting the Coldest Night of the Year walk, inviting community members to join downtown in supporting local homelessness initiatives — the event aims to raise awareness and encourage action for those in need. Leader-Telegram
- ➤ On Thursday, local leaders gathered at the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce's 'Eau What a Night' to honor innovators for their impact last year—celebrating achievements that will drive progress into the new year. WEAU
- ➤ Eau Claire parks logged more than 4,600 visitors at its four ice rinks this season (33 days open so far) as crews inspect safety daily ahead of the rinks closing on March 1. WQOW

- ➤ Bon Iver leads the Eaux Claires Festival lineup on July 24-25 at Carson Park as the event will feature a weekend of music and arts. The lineup will include Bon Dylan, Dijon, Daniel Caesar, Lil Yachty and Aimee Mann alongside a new Writers In Residence program. WQOW
- ➤ Students at UW-Eau Claire hosted the annual Black Essence event at the Davies Center, offering a night market and an educational talk on the Harlem Renaissance and the role of music in African American culture. The sixth-year event connected local Black businesses + artists. WEAU

- ➤ Northwoods Elementary teacher Trent Moss was honored with the Golden Apple Award for inspiring third graders, and he and the school will receive $500 provided by Marsh & McLennan Agency and the Eau Claire Public Schools Foundation. WEAU

- ➤ Sunday Funday Racing will hold a weekend snowmobile and snow bike racing event at Silvermine Ski Jump with nearly $3,000 in prizes and about 200 trophies. Registration opens Saturday at 10 a.m. — Sunday entry starts at 10:45 a.m. for families and newcomers to enjoy winter sports safely. WEAU
