ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Terry Shaurette, a DNR wildlife biologist, urges residents to let wild animals live on their own in the cold because extra food and shelter may spread disease + upset their normal diets. If you see an injured animal, call the DNR or a licensed rehabilitator before offering help. WQOW
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The City of Eau Claire is set to renovate the baseball-field at Carson Park this summer and officials say they feel good about the progress. The planned upgrades will enhance park facilities and community recreation. Leader-Telegram

- ➤ Eau Claire North and Eau Claire Memorial met in a boys basketball crosstown rivalry on Tuesday, Jan. 20, while Regis hosted Thorp and Elk Mound battled Fall Creek in other prep games.
