- ➤ WQOW will welcome Keith Edwards back as an 18 News Evening Anchor at 5, 6 and 10pm starting Monday, Jan. 19 — joining new evening anchor Jessica Djukic and sport director Cooper Wild to bolster the trusted local news team. WQOW
- ➤ Feed My People Food Bank recorded high volunteer numbers in 2025 but saw a drop this January amid challenging winter weather — volunteers are still needed to drive trucks, pack food, and distribute supplies and the nonprofit quickly rescheduled events via Facebook. WQOW

- ➤ Several UW campuses are named Carnegie Community Engagement Classified campuses to honor their work with local partners. The designation covers UW-Madison (UW-Whitewater, UW-Eau Claire, UW-Milwaukee, UW-Parkside, and UW-Superior) and highlights their community commitment. WQOW

- ➤ Local health officials in Eau Claire and La Crosse report that flu and COVID cases have risen in western Wisconsin over the past two months.
